Everything Pink - Sketchbook Series

Hi, Everyone!!!! 
It's been a while since I posted, but there were some traumatic and scary events going on in February (my dad was sick, he's okay now.) and I have been in a full study mode - doing around 5 hours of homework straight on average (I am homeschooled)  I've also been taking notes, and studying french, etc.

I honestly could rant on about that forever, but let's not. You guys are here for the drawing!

So, I have decided to start doing a "Sketchbook Series" where you all get a peek into my traditional-art sketchbook! I try to do daily drawings/sketches in this book, and because I have been trying to expand my skill set, I decided to try something new that I made up - a "Prompt Box". 
I took online prompts and printed them out - Mostly from one of my favorite youtubers blog, here, and a few from other various sites. I then cut them into strips and folded them in half. I took an empty tissue box and filled it with prompts. 
Now, when I go to draw, I pick out a prompt and draw the idea that comes to mind. 

So, for this sketchbook page - my prompt was "draw a page full of pink things". I really loved this challenge - there are so many amazing pink things that I can draw! I used a lot of Pinterest reference (link to my pinterest), but it was an amazing project!

Here are the things I drew in order, if you couldn't tell:

TOP FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Watermelon, an old pink car, A woman with pink hair, an old pink phone, and a flamingo.
BOTTOM FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Pink crystals, a baby pig, a bouquet of roses, pink architecture, and of course, dONUTS.

So yeah! This project was suuuuper fun, and I loved working on it! I think my favorite thing to draw was the architecture or old phone, they were both very cool to work with! My favorite thing to color was the lady or the flamingo, and my favorite one in general is the architecture.
I'm also very proud of the calligraphy I did here!

Anyways, that is it for today! I am going to make this a series, so I will be posting more soon!
